  President:
Dr.Laura Ellis has a BS degree in Biochemistry then. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and specialized in surgery. Before beginning her surgical career she was a guest scientist at the CDC in Atlanta and a molecular biologist at a major research and development firm in the Research Triangle Park, NC. She now has active surgical and wellness medicine practices in Asheville, NC.

Dr. Laura has always practiced a healthy lifestyle based on sound nutrition and minimizing environmental toxins. She has dedicated herself to teaching this to her patients and the community at large.

When the opportunity to help reveal the plight of the US Veterans and the Vietnamese people presented itself she didn't think twice about getting involved. One of the most disastrous cases of environmental toxicity leading to severe disease and birth defects occurred over 50 years ago in Vietnam and continues to this day. She is fully committed to telling this story with the hope that it will change the world. She hopes for two specific results: 1. Help for the people currently affected by severe dioxin toxicity and 2. Worldwide awareness of its dangers to prevent further poisoning.

Dr. Ellis lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her two children Mark and David. They’re beloved animal companion is a rescue dog, Roscoe.
    Vice President:
Troy Rice is the President of See the Matrix, an IT Company in Charlotte, North Carolina that he founded over 13 years ago. Troy is an alum of Appalachian State University and is very involved in the Charlotte business community.

Troy volunteers with several Charlotte area non-profit agencies. He also enjoys motorcycle riding and spending time with his wife Patty and their children Carter and Merrick. They enjoy traveling together in their motor-home.

Troy recently participated in the filming of the television series Neale Bayly Rides Peru. The show was created to raise money for charity. This was Troy's first international trip and he found the experience of the culture, poverty and the motorcycle ride through the country life-changing. Troy has served on several local non-profit boards and has helped to provide technology to people in challenged neighborhoods in Charlotte and as far away as Haiti and Peru.

Patrick Hutchings.
For eleven years Patrick has been with the nation's largest supplier of audio/visual and broadcast rental equipment supplying professional production equipment to the major studios, television networks, and concert touring industries.

He has thirty-five years of media production experience including producing, writing, videography and video editing. Patrick also has a master's degree from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of California in theoretical and communication management processes.

Patrick is passionate about wellness and preventative health care and is compelled to help improve the world environment, which he believes is critical to global health.
  Treasurer:
Chris Roberts grew up in Black Mountain, North Carolina being the youngest of four brothers. After high school Chris attended Western Carolina University where he majored in business and played football for three years. After suffering several injuries on the football field Chris decided to move back closer to home and finish his degree at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. While at UNCA he obtained his B.S. in Health and Wellness in 2010. After his undergraduate studies Chris then went back to school receiving his MBA in Healthcare Administration from South University in Savannah Georgia.

Chris has had a life long desire to help underprivileged people, serving his local community all through high school and college. "Helping those in need is a passion of mine. The opportunity to serve on this Board and make a difference in the world is a privilege."
  Director at Large:
Dr. Hamid Bakhteyar, PharmD, RPh earned both his Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University. He is a specialist in pharmaceutical compounding through the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy and the American College of Apothecaries.

Dr. Hamid owns and operates a Compounding Pharmacy and Health Center in Cary, NC where he is director of a collaborative integrative practice. He understands well the health implications of minimizing exposure to environmental toxins.

Dr. Hamid is an avid cyclist and martial artist and as a community service he teaches self-defense to healthcare professionals and children.
